Loot Goblin - Design

Loot Goblin
Game Design and Ideas

Dungeons were abandoned. All gold, gems, rare minerals and metals are gone. Only scraps remain.
But one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Take a role of a weak goblin, gather all that remains and gear yourself up to go deep ... where no one has EVER ventured.

Genres: RPG, Dungeon crawler, Fantasy

Visuals: Dark, 2D - isometric, pixel-art

Gameplay loop:

You start the game by picking a dungeon.
In the dungeon you open chests, find loot and defeat enemies (or run away from them).
With the loot gathered, escape the dungeon and gear yourself up for further adventures.
Be wary, you have limited amount of time in the dungeon.

Defeating a dungeon boss and escaping unlocks a new dungeon.
Dying in a dungeon causes you to lose all equipped items.

After escaping, you may return to your abode. There you can craft gear (armor, shields, weapons).
After all that, you may return to the dungeons.

The goal is to defeat the boss of the deepest dungeon and leave with all the gold.
